I had the opportunity to interview her for my podcast as an extension of our UN panel and her story is unbelievable for how sensationalized it was and how the media destroyed her character with blatant lies. She articulates it very well in the podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYt0j2dguJM&t=2878s especially the ways women are subjected to media scrutiny.
This is a really good case study on the intermission! I remember the Amanda Knox story as it was ongoing, the sensationalization of it all. And the world moved on. I admit I never bothered to think that this was a person who will have to continue to go on living, living in prison, defending her image, and as you highlight, having to maintain dignity and sanity in the face of such hardship. Each of the lessons are a really took takeways! Excellent post Tara!

Yes, I really enjoyed listening to your podcast interview and I linked the narrative dive post where you mentioned it in this post. Great interview!
